My Wish List
The holidays are right around the corner! We are extremely grateful for our surprising success as a family-owned business--thanks to our brilliant, hard-working teams, and loyal customers. We are also simply excited to get together as our nuclear families and as an extended family at business meetings. Today, a few members of our family wanted to share some of the things we're looking forward to during the holidays, and what we're grateful for this time of year. We also wish you and yours all the love and joy that this season has to offer.
I’m thankful to live to see both of my parents live to old age, and being able to spend more time in recent years with Grandmom.
- Dan Richard, NOW Vice President
My favorite part of the holidays is enjoying a delicious, organic meal with friends and family. Hope that you and your family have an amazing celebration as well!
- Sarah Hung, NOW Education Team
I just got over being really sick, and am finally clear to see my family. I'm looking forward to getting together, decorating the tree with my mom and enjoying our tree to the sounds of Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song", and some peppermint tea or cocoa. I'm very grateful to my fellow employees for all of our success, especially our warehouse crew who worked extended hours during the pandemic. I'm also grateful to leadership for valuing our employees from the greatest to the entry-level positions, and making sure we are taken care of with great workers benefits, and our new living wage for Fruitful Yield employees. This reflects the values of our family, and makes it encouraging to come to work every day.
- Michelle Wong, Fruitful Yield Marketing Coordinator
I am ever so thankful that Sally has recovered so nicely from her open heart surgery last year on November 5. Christmas last year was spent with Sally’s daughter, Tracy, who had flown here from Boston and who had observed every possible precaution regarding COVID. Sally’s son, Dave, had brought a Christmas tree, which we decorated while Sally watched. And Dave shopped for us each week and brought his chef prepared dishes while Tracy added her own wok dishes. [We were] house cleaning too. It was love expressed all around. Very appropriate for the Christmas season. Sally and I wish all of you a Grateful Thanksgiving and Joyous Christmas.
